Mission Statement

Calcium Primary School accepts the challenge of educating every child in order that they experience continued growth toward achieving their highest potential. Our goal is for each child to achieve success academically, socially and emotionally in meeting the educational standards of New York State. Our staff, a self-described group of risk takers and life-time learners accepts also, the challenge of creating a dynamic, innovative, and inviting environment by which our students become learners for life and successful contributing members of the world community. We are committed to actively involving our families through positive home/school communication and school-wide activities. By drawing upon our families' diverse background and their numerous experiences, we strive to promote and enrich our total school program. Our staff prides themselves in their commitment to our school-wide peacemaking and conflict resolution programs. Skills taught in these programs empower Calcium Primary School students to become confident learners and responsible, caring human beings who will make a difference wherever they go.
