Student Behavior Expectations

  • The administration is making every effort to insure that your child will be provided with an excellent educational environment during the school year. One way to help provide that environment is to establish student behavior expectations.

  • Student misconduct gets in the way of learning, of safety, and of developing respect. misbehavior takes up valuable learning time and decreases learning opportunities. Furthermore, when children are not held accountable for their misbehavior, they often end up learning that "rules are made to be broken".

  • Our school policy is to establish meaningful rules which focus on respect for other people, respect for property, and safety. These rules will be enforced at all times.

  • One of our main concerns at Calcium Primary School is student safety. Throughout the year on every school day, we do all we can to make sure your child is growing and learning in a safe and orderly environment. We emphasize rules in our cafeteria that teach children to exercise caution and self control. Rules are necessary so that students do not get hurt as they move through the line, to their tables, and back to their classrooms. We care about each and every one of our children. We ask your help by requesting that you encourage your children to use the same good manners in the cafeteria that they use at home.
